ABOUT EMMA.

Emma Rappold grew up in Texas, where her career in entertainment began at a young age; she recorded commercial voice-overs for Radio Disney from ages 8 to 17. Emma is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s Radio-Television-Film program and the Texas Exes’ Forty Acres Scholarship Program with highest honors, a 3.99 GPA, and a minor in Art History. During her time at UT, she created 6 short films and 2 web-series, wrote on two seasons of a live sketch comedy show, and performed a lead role in an improv comedy feature film. In the summer after her sophomore year, Emma directed, co-wrote, and produced her debut feature film - Dear Leo - and was awarded a grant from Richard Linklater’s Austin Film Society to help complete the film. 

Alongside her studies, Emma was also able to complete 10 internships in 4 different countries. Notably, Emma worked with FilmNation Entertainment at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018. While studying for a semester at the University of Sussex, she interned with Mister Smith Entertainment and Pathé UK in London. In Los Angeles, she has worked with Annapurna Pictures, WME, Roadside Attractions, and Black Bear Pictures.  

Since graduating, Emma has been working as a podcast assistant/production analyst/associate producer at Audio Up Media, collaborating on fiction and nonfiction shows with talent like Dennis Quaid, Machine Gun Kelly, Miranda Lambert, 24kGoldn, iann dior, Scarlett Burke, and Jaleel White.

Emma spends most of her free time writing at coffee shops and wandering art museums.
